Support Groups
It's a nice time to be with others going through the same experiences living with or caring for someone with Alzheimer's or other dementia. Support group meets 3rd Wednesday monthly from 2-3PM at Thelma's Place in Canby and 3rd Monday monthly from 2-3 at Wellspring at 1475 Mt. Hood Ave in Woodburn. Silverton Hospital now hosts a group on the third Thursday from 2-3PM and is located at 342 Fairview Rd. iin Silverton. A new group meets at Thelma's Place for those with Early Memory Loss on the 3rd Wednesday monthly from

Thelma's Place is a non-profit resource center that serves individuals and families affected by dementia regardless of financial means. Services like Minders Keepers is offered on a sliding scale so don't let finances stop you from seeking the assistance you need. Grants, fund raisers, volunteer efforts and donations from the public are the means by which Thelma's Place can offer the services they do.
