Become A Geriatric Wellness Instructor

Join Dr. Rob Winningham as he shares his latest research on memory and aging at a special two day course hosted by Thelma’s Place. Choose from: Friday & Saturday, February 10-11, 2012 or April 20-21, 2012 for a cost of $200.00. Please pre-register.


Recent research, including that published by Dr. Winningham, professor in neuroscience at Western Oregon University, shows that adults can improve their memory. He will give practical ways adults can increase their level of brain stimulation and thereby decrease their chance of ever developing memory problems. He will discuss how new neurons can be created at any age. This workshop is for anyone who works with seniors and wants to improve their lives. Health care professionals will earn 10 CEU's.
